Create a Test Print Without a Video Signal
- Turn Power off
- Press the Left Arrow and the Right Arrow keys simultaneously while turning on the Power.
- Release all keys. LCD display will show “SERVICE MODE”.
- Set QTY to 1 and set FORMAT to 1:1. Then the LCD display will show “NO INPUT” and “Q1 1/1 A S”.
- Press the Menu button to display “SYSTEMS-SETUP/PRN/FUNC”.
- Press Right Arrow to enter Service Menu.
- LCD display should read “SERVICE MENU” and “S Y Ver x.xx”.
- Press Down Arrow key to move cursor down to display: “CPU DW: STEP V”. At this point you are in the test pattern mode of the software. There are 16 different patterns (STEP H, COLOR BAR V, COLOR BAR H, etc.).
- Change patterns by pressing the Left or Right Arrow key.
- Set the multi image for 1:1 with a Qty of 1
- Once a test pattern is selected, press the EXEC key and then the PRINT button. The printer should now print 1 on 1 image of the test pattern
- We recommend using the STEP V Image
- To make more prints, continue to press the PRINT button
- To exit the program, wait until the printer has finished printing and turn off Power
